The flexibility of the program is an incredible strength. During my preparation for The Great Escape we had a renovation project running, a lot of work for my day job, and of course not forgetting family time. This program gave me the possibility to adjust my training days to my personal life.

The tutorials and strength videos from Karel were very simple and clear, but helped a lot in the long run. Often very little and simple excercices for small muscle groups made a big difference during long runs and race day.

This program made me the strongest and most confident running version of myself to date. Something i haven’t experienced during previous ultra runs. I constantly had everything under control during race day, and felt well prepared and fresh. This training platform makes me confident i will be ready for my first 100 miler in december.

What are/were you training for? Why did you choose this race?
I am currently training for my first 100 miles, the Bello Gallico. As a preparation I now did the Great Escape 50 miles.

Race outcome goals?
I did not have a specific goal in mind, besides finishing. I wanted to finish this ultra run with my buddy Jonas, and feel confident at the end that I’m ready for december.
