In 2020, I wanted to run a 250km multi-stage race in Iceland.

But like many races then, it got canceled and moved to 2021. One year later, my motivation was terrible, so I needed someone to coach me to stay on track to this goal.

That’s why I reached out to UTC.

And I’m glad I did.

They helped me pick up my training with the perfect training plan:

  • It had a clear structure with different phases
  • Each session had a goal and was clearly explained
  • The plan was continuously updated based on my feedback

On top of the feedback via WhatsApp, I could still ask questions via email. It was a direct line with the trainer. This all made me feel well-supported.

The coaching also included videos with techniques and tips about hill training, running with poles, warming up and cooling down, food, etc., all very useful in my preparation.

With the help of UTC, I built my endurance and got into shape for the race. I confidently finished it with just some blisters and black toenails.
